Photo scavenger hunt app for real-world groups

How to create and play a PicChase photo scavenger hunt

The host sets up the game in the mobile app. Every player entry joins from PicChase on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device; a team can share one phone and compete as one player.

Before you invite the group

Choose a safe play area, decide whether players compete alone or in teams, and match the list length to the time available. Free custom lists let you make any theme; every ready-made pack can also be trimmed when a prompt does not fit your location.

While the chase is running

PicChase uses internet access to synchronize photos, progress, and game state in real time. A brief connection drop should recover and sync when service returns, but internet access is required to start and finish.

Photos and results

People who know the game code and join the game can view its submitted photos. Players may delete individual photos they submitted during an active game. Collection produces a gallery; Race and Timed produce competitive results.

Finish safely

Agree on physical boundaries and a return time. Do not photograph strangers without consent, trespass, expose sensitive documents, or use a phone while driving.
